NEWS: If you’re frustrated with your game then this is the chance you’ve been waiting for? Why play average tennis when you can play better tennis? Tap into the superb coaching skills resident in the Mount Maunganui Tennis Club with Andy Donald (US Professional Tennis Association P1 accreditation) every Tuesday Club night. Starting 31st January, Andy will coach for 1 hour starting at 6.00pm. No prior bookings are required and afterwards you are encouraged to play a few games with the other participants to help embed those new found skills in your technique. Members and non members are welcome. The cost is $15 per session for members and $20 for non members.
In short: COACH PROFILE Andy Donald is our professional coach and has recently returned from Germany with his family, Katerina (also a professional coach) and children Matthew and Natalie. He has vast experience after many years working in a prestigious, Bundesliga club. Work included training with many top coaches/juniors but also structuring club programmes to cater for ones requirements. His qualifications include USPTA P1 and German Federation License. As a player, a former Wellington and Eastern Districts no.1, National League and Caro Bowl finalist. Several years playing interclub and tournaments in Europe. "My objective is to create an atmosphere where people not only have fun but most importantly improve their tennis. In that way more people will stay in and enjoy the game of a Lifetime!"
