Download in PDF format: Enrolment JUNIORS NEWSLETTER: SEPT 2011 MOUNT JUNIOR NEWSLETTER Officially spring has arrived and the new season is fast approaching. It was great to have a good number of young interclub players continue training over the winter months (before my injury that is!). The Mount Club this season is going to partially subsidise training and support our junior members who coach throughout the summer season. We are looking to the future, to broaden the base at the grassroots level and consolidate the Mount as one of WBOP top clubs. An outline of the important dates as follows: Coaching Registration (Saturday, 24 th Sept, 9.30-11.30am)This seasons registration we will integrate a fun tournament. This will enable the players that have had a break over winter to knock the cobwebs off. You can arrive and leave as suits, friends and non- members are also welcome to participate. Mini nets will be set up and rackets will also be available for everyone wanting a go! In case of inclement weather we will still be available inside the clubhouse for registration and enquiries. For anyone unable to make the appointment, the following Saturday (October 1st) we will also be at the club from 9.30-11.00am. Anybody unable to make it can email me their details. andy@impacttennis.co.nz or phone 02102552326Interclub Interclub is the pinnacle for club players each season and all juniors of suitable standard are encouraged to enter the regional competition. Teams must be promptly finalised. To secure a spot and not miss out, email me before the end of the term or confirm at registration. We also require to nominate one parent/manager per team although this role can be shared depending which parent is present on the day. Notify me if you’re interested. Holiday Camps Impact holiday camp will be on offer and a good way to get some intensive training in before the season kicks in! It is generally one of the bigger camps in the year and a great way for kids to try out tennis in a fun environment! WHEN: Mon 10th- Thurs 13th OctoberTIME : 9.00am-12.00pmCOST: $100 for 4 days (or $30 per day) incl.
